Get a better price using Thai!

Everyone loves to shop, and in Thailand there are thousands of places top spend your money on goods and services you cannot get anywhere else. To negotiate a better price using Thai, you can use the following phrases:

  1. "ราคาเท่าไหร่?" (ra-ka tao-rai?) - What is the price?

  2. "ราคานี้เกินไป" (ra-ka nee gern bai) - This price is too high.

  3. "ขอราคาที่ถูกกว่านี้" (kaw ra-ka tee tuk gwa nee) - Can I have a lower price?

  4. "ฉันจะซื้อสินค้านี้ ถ้าคุณลดราคาให้ฉัน" (chăn ja seu sin-ka nee ta kun lot ra-ka hai chan) - I will buy this product if you can give me a discount.

It's also helpful to know some numbers in Thai, as this will allow you to specify the price you are willing to pay.
